On
a Budget? Here's what you can do to keep your cost down
1. Screenprinted items are produced in bulk, so the more you order, the
lower the price of each unit.
2. Each color in each location requires a lengthy, and unique setup. The
less colors you print the cheaper it will be.
3. Stick with basic garments. The biggest bang for your buck is a standard
white t-shirt (lower minimums too!).
PRICE BREAKS
The Screenprinting Quantity price breaks are 24, 36, 48, 72, 96, 144,
192, 244, 300, 400, 500, 750, 1000, and 2500.
Visit the prices page for a detailed breakdown.
PRINT AREA
Please Note that our standard maximum print area is 12" wide by 14"
tall. On average, we print approximately 10"- 11" wide when
smaller shirts are involved in the order. Although the designer will allow
you to place your design anywhere on the shirt, the only proper print
areas are: on the front (full size), the left chest (aka "pocket
print"), on the back, and on the sleeves (when offered as a "location").
UPLOADING ARTWORK
Our designer software only accepts JPG, PNG, and GIF files. It is very
important that these are High resolution graphics (300 pixels per inch
/ 300dpi at full size. If it looks blurry on the designer, than it is
too small. If you have an EPS or Ai file, please send it to us at InstaShirt(at)hotmail(dot)com
(vector art is the best for screenprinting).
DIGITAL
PRINTING TIPS
1. No Minimums! - ALL light colored shirt orders under
24 are subject to digital printing (at our discression)
2. Our printer does not print white ink, so we have limited digital printing
to light color gament (for instance, don't try to trick us by putting
light grey on a light blue shirt, and expect it to "pop", because
it probably won't. Consider yourself warned.
3.Maximum
print area for digital printing is 14" x 16"
4.Stay inside the boxes.
